MAPS families and staff start receiving an email from PowerSchool. The email is legit. MAPS called Powerschool to confirm the email. Below is the information that was given to MAPSl.
PowerSchool is grateful for your continued patience and understanding as we work through reports that some of your community may have received a direct email communication related to the cybersecurity incident on December 28, 2024. PowerSchool has confirmed this email is from Experian, the company we have partnered with to conduct the individual notification of, and provide credit and/or identity monitoring for, impacted individuals. This is not a phishing attempt and is a valid email address. We are working diligently to look into the issue and will be in touch soon once we have more information for our International customers.
