Blesch recently completed their 3rd Annual Book Battles competition. Book Battles is a friendly competition to help promote reading and reading month. Three teams were formed within each teacher's homeroom. Teams were asked to read 10 designated books (each team read the same 10 books). Battle questions were taken directly from the 10 assigned books. The first battle took place to crown a classroom champion. After we crowned a classroom champion we were able to Zoom each of the classrooms into the competition so students were able to watch and cheer on their classmates while they competed. The grade level classroom champions were next to compete and they squared off to crown a grade level champion. Lastly, each of the grade level champions competed to crown a Blesch school champion.
