Menominee Area Public Schools

Central Elementary and Blesch Intermediate teachers participated in a 3-day training to learn Bookworms, a new reading program, that the schools will be moving to in the fall. We were fortunate to have 15 teachers willing to pilot the program in the spring of last school year. They l oved the new reading program so much, they encouraged the district to move completely to the new program. It is amazing to see the dedication of the teaching staff. Of the invited teachers, 95% rearranged their summer plans or obligations to attend this 3-day Bookworm training.  Teachers attending this training continue to show how strongly dedicated Menominee Elementary teachers are to the students in this community.
